    "Tank" Davis is Broner 2.0.

Carefully managed "multi division" champion. He will get a beating when he faces top 135 guys just like Broner got beaten by world class welterweights.

He is just Broner with more power.

They both also lack discipline, that is why they fight/fought "bigger" guys.

I was thinking similar, I like him though, but he also will be much better managed than Broner...

"When he faces a top level fighter" may not happen, as the carefully managed part will guide.

I like him because he's actually a good guy and a tough fighter, he's not the one doing the match making.

This is the way I see it... they will keep managing him and cherry picking and he'll keep doing his thing, he'll become a star and then he doesn't ever need to face a top opponent.

IF, IF, he ever does face a top contender, it will be under his terms as the A side and we all know how that goes down, you'll have to KO him to win.... meaning he will win controversially, but he'll still win.

This may be the common them going forward.

Tremendous talent, would love to see him detach from Floyd though.

How is it? They're managing him smarter just blatantly ducking josh taylor

It seems like a broner 2.0 they're going to keep the hype as long as they can and not step up at all

Those 2 fighters aren't at all comparable. Tank has an established style and he knows who he is. Broner doesn't even throw punches for fear of being hurt. Davis is probably the hardest puncher p4p and he's not scared to take a punch in order to get his shots off. And he's accurate as hell. There really is no comparison.

Go back and look at broner fights prior to the maidana fight... he outclassed schooled and stopped the bum of the month club just like tanks is doing

Nah Broner had some tough fights even before Maidana. Ponce De Leon comes to mind. Once again, there really is no comparison. They are vastly different fighters.

Plus I personally don't see tank being as durable as broner when heavy stuff starts landing on him when he does step up in 10 years

I think you're concentrating too much on the fighting style being similar I think it's more that Leo santa and barrios landed numerous shots on tank ,tank looks great against this level of opposition and weight difference fighters but the second he steps up he's going to be finished exactly like broner

That's what the ts is trying to say I think and I agree with him

Look amazing step up and get dominated
