Manny Pacquiao Sued by Audie Attar, Spence Fight in Jeapordy?

Powerful combat sports manager Audie Attar has filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against eight-division boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, seeking to recoup a $3.3 million advance and requesting an injunction to stop Pacquiao’s scheduled Aug. 21 welterweight title fight against Errol Spence Jr.

Attar, whose Southern California-based agency Paradigm Sports manages UFC superstar Conor McGregor, claims in the lawsuit filed in Orange County, Calif., that he was negotiating for Pacquiao to meet four-division champion Mikey Garcia.
The lawsuit alleges Pacquiao was never in obligation to fight again for PBC unless the opponent was Floyd Mayweather Jr., who defeated Pacquiao by unanimous decision in 2015 ― a bout that stands as the richest one-day sporting event in history.
Ultimately, in May, Pacquiao announced he was fighting Spence. The lawsuit alleges that the announcement came just hours after Paradigm believed Pacquiao would sign to fight Mikey Garcia, resulting in Garcia ending his brief union with Paradigm, as well.

“Pacquiao’s breaches of the agreement therefore entitle Paradigm to monetary damages (and) costs associated with this proceeding, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and … injunctive relief,” Burstein wrote.

Uh oh, did Manny just completely F up here and breach his contract with Paradigm Sports? And my goodness, 3.3M advance? This man just won't stop taking this huge advances. And at the very least, he definitely needs to pay back the 3.3M. But could the Spence fight all together fall apart here? They are pursuing injunctive relief.

Where are the usual clowns that say Floyd has $ trouble? They always seem quiet when Pacquiao is in $ trouble for some odd reason...

Um, we shall see about that. The fight with Spence may go on, but he will definitely have to pay back the advance, and rightfully so.

The man just gives zero craps about contracts lol.

LOL "belief" is the new standard now? No where in that article did it state that anything had been signed. This is nothing and will get thrown out.

Likely won't stop the fight but Pacman will probably have to pay up

He ran and signed with that dude I guess assuming that he would get a huge Payday with McGregor

So there were negotiations to fight Mikey Garcia

Pac should have taken that fight instead

way more winnable match for old Pac
