Why in America though? I heard Hearn say that Whyte's next fight may be in the states, but what's the play here? Dude literally has no fanbase whatsoever here and he's not fighting an opponent with a name.

But if the fight is on a undercard, then that is okay...Though that is doubtful since Whyte has a sizable purse every fight.

Actually, I think the're saying, someone at Jermaine's level. The rhetorical Jermaine.

I am not sure why people are complaining, Whyte should really just be ticking over now until his title fight.

Fighters should really be doing most of their work in the gym anyway, Whyte has had enough fights to know how to fight in a big fight.

There is no real need for him to face any top contenders in my opinion 'He has been there and done all of that already'.

He should fight Zhang in china. They can hype it up as a World title fight since Whyte holds the interim WBC belt.

This is how god awful the HW division is! It’s THE WORST in over 50 years. Want perspective? This so called “top ranked contender” Whyte gets mopped up by the following non champion opponents from the 80s and 90s. Whyte wouldn’t even be a fart in the wind.

              Ruddock
              Brewster
              Cooper
              Moorer (champ not for long)
              Mercer
              Stewart
              Bruno
              Witherspoon
              Douglas (not champ for long)
              Byrd
              Gonzales
              Tillis
              Tubbs
              Golata

i could rattle off 10 more. HW division is a dumpster fire of garbage.

Dokes, Morrison, Brewster, Moorer, Mercer, Bruno, Witherspoon, Douglas, Byrd and Tubbs are not Non champs....they all held some version of the HW title during their careers.

Correct. But it's not an impression. It's a fact. The coward already turned down guaranteed title shot vs AJ, and a career high pay day.
