I was watching a documentary on how Pentagon works with Hollywood to finance war movies for propaganda. And it dawned on that it’s how the US media uses its propaganda machine to create hype for American boxers.
When you look at Mike Tyson and how he was created as being invincible - it makes sense since he apparently was past his “prime” by age 24 when he had to fight real boxers. Who peaks at 24 in a sport like boxing, especially heavyweights?
The other obvious one is the bum, Wilder. The man knocked off 40 bums. Then the US propaganda machine went into an overdrive of naming the one-trick pony the biggest puncher in history and the scariest heavyweight. After Fury took his best punches and beat him up like a kid. They have changed the story into sucking Fury off while trying to act like only Fury can beat the one-handed bum.
Yanks need to pump the brakes with propaganda - times have changed and people are smarter.
