    my pacquaio vs cotto prediction

pacquiao does not throw uppercuts..which bother cotto most of the time, this time he will fight a counterpuncher who punches harder than anyone he has ever fought. pacquiao whenever he comes close will get countered with hard shots, remember timing beats speed, and cotto has been only beaten by margarito who is a huge welterweight, pacquiao's power wont bother cotto, he wont even flinch. if it does bother him it will be the speed, but that speed wont be no good when cotto times him perfectly and counters with hard shots, if cotto connects one left hook to the body pacquiao will be ko'd i think. pacquiao doesnt go in to defensive mode like clottey, pacquiao doesnt hit as hard as margarito, pacquiao has speed, and in the cotto vs mosley fight we saw timing beats speed.

this time however hes fighting pacquiao who is not a big welterweight compared to guys like clottey, margarito and mosley.

another thing cotto does often is when he throws a left hook to the body or chin he keeps his right hand glove on his chin...that is crucial to protect himself from manny's vicious left straight..if cotto keeps his right glove on his chin while punching with his left and throughout the fight he won't stop but can neutralize manny's money shot just as morales did in 05. However, pacquiao is a much more polished fighter since his morales fight so this will be an interesting fight nonetheless.
