They don't but the gates of the hall are getting wider each year, and the reason is the ridiculous policy that each year the hall MUST select 4 fighters for the modern category. Eventually you'll end up with one defense alphabet strapholders in there because they have to pick more than just the greatest.

JMM skill wise and resume wise they probably should but Boxing is a political beast and neither carried the same Aura IMO as MAB who is the lowest of those i bolded that will get in.

that said is Barry McGuigan got in all those listed are sure fire HoF! if I where chosing all would get in they all deserve too.
