Lot of truth in this article. It doesn't always happen in boxing but when the truth is revealed it is great.

It was still a fight he was expected to lose. You can see why as well, the kid was very strong and hit extremely hard and was on his way to winning by stoppage until Gabe set him up. Regardless, you're kind of missing the point - it's about how two upsets represented karmic justice - Rosado picked up a hugely dramatic win that'll set him up for a bigger payday next time out, a deserved reward after a career of honest hard work where he's often been forced to swim against the current, and Junior got humiliated by a sloppy old guy from a different sport entirely, in what looks likely to be the final nail in the coffin after a career of undeserved recognition and opportunities because of nepotism in spite of his laziness and mediocrity. In terms of actual fighting skill I actually don't think Rosado has ever been anything special, but it's his work ethic and honesty that sets him so far ahead of Junior in people's esteem, and those two fights were a nice bit of reality that reflects that.

        Good article.

He really was, but then he timed and KTFO the Bully to make the first two rounds irrelevant. Melikuziev is definitely raw, but I think he's going to build back up quick and be a name in the division. Everything about the dude fits his "Bully" nickname. His style, his power, even his face and hair. Dude really looks like a school yard bully. I think he's a great character to have in boxing so i hope he learns a lot from this loss, tightens up the defense a bit and is back in the ring soon.

Gabe Rosado is a journeyman, he would of got another call even if the Euro-Bum would of knocked him out -- that's how boxing works, its not karma.

Nah, he's only 25 years old. It's not that he has a fragile chin but rather that he came rushing in and left himself open for a clean, hard right hand. Paulie Malinaggi would have dropped him landng the same punch. As fun as it is to watch, Melikuziev just over-commits to the body attack. He had 6KOs in 7 fights and just really believes in his power. Up until that KO shot, he probably didn't think much of Rosado's ability to hurt him because he was absolutely walking through Gabe up until that point. I'm not saying he's going to be an ATG or even a world champion one day, but I think the Bully will be back to put the hurt on a lot more people.

Rosado is a fighter. I'm happy for him. He scored a spectacular highlight reel knockout that now sets him up for a bigger payday. He's earned it.

Chavez Jr. sadly has never lived up to the hype and this is arguably the nail in the coffin. Not in his career, because he can still continue to fight if he wants to. But as far as being considered a great fighter and one that can pull in big paydays and championship fights, I think those days are behind us. He'll need to really grind things out if he ever wants to get near that level again.

Not too many fighters come back from a KO like that without career changing hit to their confidence. Could be the end of Bek

                      You're expecting a bit much from 1SourRun.
He can't cope with thinking outside his fan-based world. He'll soon be a teenager, so we're expecting big developments from him soon. Fingers crossed ay.
Great win for Rosado and a very enjoyable 3 rounds to watch, Rosado looking for the timing and the shot, but time against him under the heavy onslaught. Only 1SourPlum couldn't find any enjoyment in that fight.
