I thought Vargas was going to get dominated and stopped, but he was game throughout the fight. He has the heart of a warrior. He didn’t have to continue the fight after that head clash, but he chose to do so anyway. This was a good fight card overall and turned out to be better than I expected.

Its a cruel sport at the end of a career. Vargas has been in some great action fights but he's on the wrong end of risk and reward now.

Just caught up on the card last night, and much props to Bandido for giving it a go. Cruz is crude and tough, but yeah his type of style won't last long. Doesn't mean he won't make for entertaining fights for as long as he can though. I'd try to get him the big names ASAP before he gets upset by someone inferior.

Cant wait to fade him when he fights a capable and not shop worn boxer.
I would have loved to see him against Garcia. Cruz would need to work extra hard to avoid Garcia’s jab and to close the distance.
