Floyd stans, who do you root for in this fight

We know you all would support it because "two of the top 5 pound for pound fighters getting it on in the ring is good for boxing",

    so,

Two of the top 5 pound for pound fighters are going to get it on, an that can only lead to great things for the sport of boxing,

    Bernard Hopkins,

    and either,

    Shane Mosley or Israel Vazquez,

who do you think Hops should face first?

Sad comparison because the size difference between the guys you've mentioned is big.

Indeed no doubt Floyd got an advantage over Marquez weight wise but its nothing huge and certainly if Marquez got the skills its one he should conquer (he wont). Floyd comes in for welterweight fights at 147 and walks around at 147 his best fight weight was 135, which seems the same for Marquez too given his last two wins..

          Doesn't matter,

they're all pound for pound fighters and this would do wonders for the sport,

          using FSL of course.

The Shane fight is easily doable, as he fought as high as 154 and Bernard is a former MW champ.

The Vazquez matchup might be a bit trickier, but I'm sure something can be worked out,

this is pound for pound fighters we're talking about,

anytime you can get two in the ring at the same time no matter what the previous circumstances have been,

          its great for the sport.

          Using FSL of course.

SSM started at 135, Bernard Hopkins started at 175, then came down and reigned at 160. Pretty much, 4 divisions apart. Where as, Mayweather and Marquez started 1 division apart.

Both are top 5 pound for pound though,

              thats all that matters.

I'm sure Shane could get up to 168 as could Bernard.

tommy maybe you just don't understand. there are weight classes in boxing! you must challenge fighters that weigh the same as you. delajoha was the only person that could challenge anyone regardless of weight and get the fight sanctioned due to the money he generated. being p4p at 168 and challenging an undefeated superbatamweight doesn't say much!
