MW division is such a hilarious division right now. Munguia is scared to fight andrade and charlo. ggg is scared to fight munguia, charlo and andrade. Charlo only wants ggg, and is not interested in fighting andrade. Only andrade wants everyone, yet nothing gets done.

Golden Boy has done a good job moving Munguia. They’d love for him to show signs of being on the level, but he isn’t and he’s getting impatient. Jaime won a title at 154 against the perfect matchup, but he was too green and his defense too porous for him to win against better opposition.

Munguia’s defense is still porous, but if he insists, he’s going to get the opposition he wants. It won’t be Rosado though, he’s not a good matchup. It’ll likely be Andrade and we’ll see if he’s ready or not.

Andrade would be a terrible opponent for him

not only will he likely lose... he could get totally undressed

Rosado is a good opponent, I can see the sense in that fight... Rosado is well-known, popular, and it could be a great fight... and Rosado may not be a step too far, like the top guys would be at this point in time... and the point is... he will be more "available" in that fight, than highly-skilled guys like Andrade

but can he beat Rosado ?

Rosado is actually a very tough fight for him.

Fans should remind themselves that they are both GBP and both fighters called each other out, so this fight has probably been in the works.

In-house fighting is nothing new my friend. If it benefits the promotional company and the fighters get paid what they want, that’s in-house. Btw, Gabe Rosado is BIG and would be Munguía’s biggest opponent to date, or maybe rehydrated, Tureano Johnson could be the same. The current 160 Champs have taken paths of least resistance

Munguía hasn’t been long in the scene as GGG, Charlo or Andrade. His standard and age hasn’t hit like the rest. Besides, look at the thread title. He said “next.” The only other guy who has verbally said something Championship worthy is Andrade because Demetrius been wanting to unify. Who had Charlo called out? GGG is unifying with Murata next.
