they are made in mexico and designed by some of the people who made the oldschool Cleto glove. They are made of horsehair and foam and have been used with great success.

the Protex advances what Grant started in that it's primarily used by boxers who focus on hand safety and defense. The high impact protects the hand and creates a tight defense

Yes, the Mexican gloves are know for punchers easily making them the favorites. Anyone interested in war would like to carry one of these, both Margarito and Cotto used them for their fight and many countless fights have been used with gloves with the Mexican design.
