I'm gonna explain this **** like I did lineal back when y'all got excited about lineal and started just repeating **** you heard instead of actually looking into anything. So, firstly, what makes a legitimate world champion? Y'all seem to think a body can just pick out of their many belts which champion represents them and can shift that representation to whichever belt they choose or whatever champion they choose. That's not the case and never has been.
A legitimate works the exact same way as a legitimate body. It's cross recognition that makes the title inarguable. Look at WBC ratings. Do you see any mention of WBA Regulars? Nope, you do see WBA Super, IBF, and WBO champions. There are no Interims from the IBF/WBO that are recognized. There are not Golds or Regs from the WBA that are recognized. Basically every single belt that y'all cry about being bull**** is indeed bull****. As recognized as the IBO. As pointless as the WWA.
Look at the WBA/IBF/WBO ratings board. See Haney at LW? He is who is the recognized WBC LW champion. See Teo only mentioned as the WBA Super, IBF, and WBO champion? Because that is his cross-body recognition. Haney holds the WBC belt the other bodies recognize as equal to their own.
If you're on the WBO's ratings you will see WBO Super. Not on the WBC, not on the IBF, and not on the WBA. It's a WBO-exclusive recognition that only matters to internal WBO affairs. Just like how the WBA Regular only matters internally to the WBA and the WBC Franchise only matters internally to the WBC, and the IBF's interims are only for the IBF.

Joshua is not recognized as an equal WBA champion by the WBC but they do recognize the WBO/IBF champion as Joshua. They're super ****ed and the only way to check a major body is with a major body. That is literally why we have multiples. It's the entire purpose of the inception of the NBA a years after the NYSAC. To DISPUTE the power of the NYSAC. To check a monopoly on the sport by offering a counter just as legitimate, so legit even the other body recognizes.
What you need to be undisputed is recognition by all four bodies you are undisputed. Only the WBC claims Teo. WBA/IBF/WBO all agree Teo needs the WBC belt Haney has to be undisputed.
