yea like i said mayweather thinks he's the most deserving challenger. cotto, mosley, and pac are all tougher challenges and everyone knows that but him. he's an idiot.

          ITS A TUNE UP! lmao.
even though this fight is not as attractive as his past fights, the PPV numbers are still going to be good. its just that people arent too excited about it enough to fly out to vegas for it. i guarantee that this fight will get more PPVs than when pac fought jmm. floyd took this fight because its a tune up that makes him alot of money. he could have fought some one like collazo for a tune up and made **** compared to fighting a tune up with a big name.

all of you ridiculing floyd about how hes no draw better eat your words when he fights in an attractive fight, see you make threads about how Mayweather-Mosley isnt selling.

and all you pac fans talking about how cotto-pac is selling more and this and that, why dont you talk about how floyd drew bigger with his fight with oscar and hatton?

and lol when people go crazy on pointing out that he is doing something to sell tickets, like appear on wwe. you ever heard of promoting? every one does it, its not illegal, its not rocketscience.
Tuneup should've been against a Welterweight...not a blown up Lighweight.

Floyd took this fight to setup negotiating power for a mega fight against Pacquiao

It takes two to fighters to sell PPVs....Floyd does not seem to get that...with him going around proclaiming himself the cashcow. The DLH and Hatton #s got to his head.

One word....Economy. Facts are....people stopped buying PPVs in high numbers because of the recession. Floyd fought DLH in May of 07 and Hatton in Dec of 07. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_2000s_recession
Pacquiao fought DLH in Dec. of 08 and Hatton May of this year...recession already in full swing...people getting layed off....unemployment at all time highs....lenders all filing for BK and or getting bailouts.....you tell me have you been buying PPVs at the same rate prior to 2007? If you are....can I work where you work at?

Well he couldn't fight SSM because of the 5 losses and Cotto.....well he lives in PR so that fight is out of the question.

oh yea i forgot. pac has been knocked out twice! disgrace he should retire already hes clearly shot. marquez the lightweight who never even fought at 140 has 4 losses so obviously he qualifies more than mosley the welterweight champ who has 5 losses. cotto is damaged goods from the margarito fight so floyd doesn't wanna hurt him and is being a humanitarian. hatton is damaged goods(from floyd). paul williams and floyd have the same manager so obviously thats out. berto is too "awesome" to fight. this only leaves 2 logical opponents. billy dibb and juan manuel marquez. and he chose the wrong one. ducking the dibbmeister.

Which would be better -- Floyd fighting a stiff like the one Miguel Cotto fougtht at welterweight after getting KO'd by Margarito or Floyd moving up one weight division and fighting a stiff like Pac did when he moved up to 135 after beating Marquez at 130? He wanted to fight Shane Mosley at welterweight before he retired. Mosley turned the fight down. He wanted to fight Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton when he was at 140. Cotto and Hatton wanted no part of him. He is coming back after almost a two year layoff and is fighting one of the top two PPP fighters in the world. That is a hell of a lot more impressive than what Pac and Cotto did.

the only reason by floyd is getting so much **** for this is because money, ppvs, and who is the draw is floyd ever talks about. maybe if floyd did not emphasize it so much, he wouldn't be getting such a backlash.
