That was wild. Montiel had more trouble walking to his corner than walking straight at Charlo.
BIt embarrassing at times for the commentators, replays showing Montiel had better defence than they were giving him credit for a lot of the time.

For someone clearly overmatched he made that entertaining as hell. Didn't help Charlos stocks like they would have hoped.

Canelo’s a totally different type of fighter and it would be more of a chess match type fight. Not saying Charlo would win but Canelo’s been known to surrender rounds in order to collect information to use later on in fights. He’s not going balls to the walls like Montiel. He’s more calculated in his attack.
