  • Did anyone on here give a logical explanation for Fury's floppy gloves?

Here's Wilder's first comeback video. He even spoils that he plans to be silent. I had forgotten the chatter about fighting Takam.

But he has a snippet of the floppy glove.

Was there ever a logical answer to that?

I know it's NSB where logic is scarce, but I know there's a few smart people here.

No but I don't have any explanation for Jennifer Anistons sweet looking, 50+ headquarters either.

Has anyone asked the commission and those that signed off on the gloves their take?

        Nope

Furry stans just said it looks completely normal

What about that video of his sparring partner that showed some gloves and said they were furrys with the padding remove. Furry stans just declared the video fake.

The gloves look floppy because Fury was flicking his jabs and punches with a loose hand. Ali used to do the same thing sometimes. It allows you to punch quicker when throwing more than one at a time because the arm and hand are more relaxed. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

you just going to get the CYA cover your ass response.

Its like when police are presented with some material that they may have the wrong man and the real criminal is still out there. In a pure world you would think they would be interested to go find the real criminal but in reality they are more interested in protecting their reputation and double down on their original stance.

Commission will say the gloves are good because if they say anythign else they are admitting their inspection process and inspectors arent 100% which is an absurd stance to take because of course nothing is 100% fool proof but thats politics for you

you can do things like that when you dont have metal pins and rods surgically inserted into your right hand like deontay wilder does

Here's the problem with your explanation. And I know you made it without actually watching the clip.

If what you're saying is true - that it's just a flicking jab - after Fury flicks, he palm strikes Wilder. Not punches. Straight palm to side of the face.

Now of course, palm strikes are illegal. But the ref was on the wrong side.

The Ali jab always connected with the knuckle to face despite being a flick. He never palm struck anyone.

But if he didn't actually flick, and his fist was lower in the glove, his fist would have connected square on Deontay's face.

                  Now I'll ask again.

Has anyone come up with a logical explanation for the floppy glove?

They sign off on the gloves as wrapped and as of when they inspected. Not during or after the fight.

Which is why the only reason Mosley's team caught Margacheato was at inspection time and nothing was done with Cotto/Margacheato 1 when Cotto's trainer spotted the plaster after the fight.

And why Joshua was able to take a nice timeout against Parker and catch a breather.
