Does anyone have a real analysis on how Cotto-Pacquiao should or will play out?

Its going to be an interesting one thats for sure.

One thing I hope doesn't happen is that if Pacquiao wins his accomplishment here is downgraded.

This would be an amazing victory if Pacquiao could pull it off. These guys are two of my favourites, but I have decided to pull for Cotto in this one, mostly because he is the dog and I think he deserves this win, but if Manny wins - wow, just wow.

I will offer you my quick analysis:

Cotto is a solid fighter but Pacquio is the p4p king for a reason. At the end of the night Pacquio will be too fast for Cotto and the fight will be stop to save the Puertorican pride from unecessary punishment. Dont be surprise if the next day after the fight you start looking at news about possible Cotto retirement just like predecessors Barrera, Morales, Diaz, DLH, Hatton between others no-name that nobody care.

Both fighters will throw punches and it will be a draw or one of the fighters will win.

This bout will depend on Cotto's chin. Pacquiao catches everyone at the beginning due to his speed. If Cotto survives the early onslaught he will win because he will adapt to Pac and counter him until his lights go out.

Folks try to find the tale of the tape for this two guys and after come back and post again. There is a lot talk about the size different but on night fight you are going to be surprised with Manny measures.

This Pacquiao guy is a creature made for fighting, his speed is and power is a just lethal because the speed is so great that it act like a power enhancer by 3 or 4 time the magnitude it should be for a conventional figher. Plus his arm are so long that he can hit easily even while fighting from the out side.

Prediction ==> Pacquiao wins by way of late stoppage.

Manny will def throw a lot of punches in diff. angles
& it will prob hit like 30-40% accuracy

Cotto is not an agile boxer, usually plants his feet where he gets
                    his power

                    Cotto gasses in late rounds

Cotto hasn't come forward since the Quintana fight in 2006?

I might be dead wrong come fight night, but i honestly think that the one that will have to box will be Cotto.

Everyone is imagining the Cotto pre-Judah, which was Cotto at his best to be honest. But Judah, although he lost, ruined Cotto and no one wants to admit it because they hate Zab and i'm not even on Zab's balls like that, but i am a fan of his.

An old ass Mosley fought to a draw with Cotto in most boxing fans eyes. Margarito made Cotto quit regardless if he had illegal handwraps or not, and Clottey did enough to beat Cotto, imo.

My question is this, Cotto is so powerful right? but he is not known to have good defense, so how is he gonna impose his power on Pacquiao? he's just going to cut the ring off and Pacquiao will just be there standing not throwing lightning punches and making Cotto pay for trying to close the distance?

Will power, but no defense actually beat Paquiao?

Remember, Pacquiao HAS power. Manny has defense to escape from Cotto's power, but what does COTTO have to escape from Pacquiao's power?
