Showing off that spectacular middle eastern iq. Imagine saying white doesn’t exist and then most Cubans are white in the same paragraph. Also your link doesn’t discount the blackness of anyone it is a simple Identifying the term Hispanic which isn’t a race. You are either white, black, or indigenous Or a mixture of the three in Cuba. Rigo is obviously black given that he is black.

Also. Rigondeaux is rusty alredy and they want postpone his fight? He is also old!

This was a bad move for Donaire, good move for Rigo. Rigo gets to sit on the side and only fight once, gets a shot at the unified champ while not having to earn it. Donaire just freaking fought and prob has residual injuries or whatever.

Otherwise it would have been Rigo vs Casimero, then if Rigo wins, rematch Donaire for the unification. 2 fights to get the unification and a risk he loses to Casimero, vs now just 1 fight and a guarantee at the unification with no risk of a loss first.

But apparently Rigo was down for it. Maybe he didn't want to fight Casimero?

You recollection is wrong. The fight didn't even go four rounds and Donaire didn't take many punches and none that fazed him in the slightest.

Lol yeah, I thought it best to cut my losses and steer clear of that exchange. I bowed out.

He is still 38 years old and been in a lot of wars. We dont know what happened behind the scenes last fight, what injuries he had from camp ect. Are his hands bad, are his legs bad ect and should they be given rest before going back into another camp. Its rare for any fighter to fight again in under 90 days, only Canelo has really done that recently and he isnt 38.

Its a real ***** move for Rigo to give up his mandatory status and let a 38 year old donaire who just fought 3 weeks ago take his title shot for him. Rigo has a ***** mindset for a elite level fighter that is for sure.

Standard training for a fight is 8 weeks, Donaire has that and is coming off a fight that went less than four rds. In that fight, he took few punches and none that fazed him at all.

Donaire is a 20+ year veteran who doesn't have to take this fight. If he had any injuries that would effect this bout, he would have passed.
