I Met with Mario Santiago Today

I was doing some shoping at Sam's today and I met him and his girlfriend.

he is very humble and nice so is his girlfriend, very nice people.

I ask him about when he will fight again, and he says that his looking to be in the undercard of Pavlik vs Williams but that got cancelled. Then they offered him a tentative fight on October in PR and another one for the Cotto vs Pacquiao undercard.

I asked him about his fight with Luevano and he said he tought he won, but being that the fight was in Vegas and a close fight, he knows thats why they gave the fight to Luevano(In the sense that he kept his title). He also said to me, that he personally has spoke to Luevanos people and to Luevano himself and that they dont want to fight at all with him. He says he is kind of frustrated about that beuase he knows the mistake he did in the first fight and he Knows he can blow Luevano away fast this time.

he told me he is loking forward to fight another top 10 guy and try and get Elio Rojas or Cristobal Cruz for a title fight.

I told him I posted a lot here, and he says that he says thanks for the guys that supports him and all of the guys that support boxing in general.

      Was his chick hot??

Dude you could tell Luevano don't want none in the rematch. I think he should go for Cruz. Though he just beat Solis. I think he could take him. Or if Rocky were to somehow beat John, he can always take his belt lol.

how'd he feel about the Hector Velazquez fight? Did he feel he won that one too? Did you ask how long it would be before he fights a top guy?

I think Santiago could be the best fighter at 126.

I don't think he did. I saw it even. I know he will probably win the rematch, that's why Luevano don't want to fight.
