  • Teofimo Lopez Sr. : One More Fight At Lightweight For My Son - NOT Devin Haney, Impossible

Apparently Top Rank has pulled rank and refused to ever work with Haney.

Which if this is true, Lopez will never be undisputed at lightweight and Loma has a chance to get back on top.

Dont think Loma "too small for lightweight" Chenko can beat Lopez.

Loma is one of these guys I mentioned a while back. East Euro guys who get hyped due to their LOOONG amateur careers, who turn pro very late.
Kinda like Usyk, and a ton of others.

Their problem is: They start so late... by the time they are at their peak, they are just getting started.

PLUS: Trust me when I tell you that amateur style will fall apart real quick facing some grimy fighters. Someone like Shawn Porter is the ******nite to the easteuro amateur style. Just STICK IT ON EM and they will lose.

Their is no good reason to not make money except to plan it at 147 to make 10X the money. That’s what’s happening.

Loma throwing actively for two more rounds results in a loss for Teo.

You cite Loma fastest 3 weight champ and Usyk undisputed cruiser as an example of bad careers?

          You need difference examples.

Loma is at 135 because that's where the bigger fights are, Usyk is at HW because he cleaned out cruiser and that's where the bigger fights are.

After just seeing a training clip of Lopez training, looking listless and struggling in sparring, I thought Lopez looked like a middleweight. I don't think there was a virus thing. I call BS on that.

It would not suprise me it Teo was struggling with the weight as to why he used the covid excuse to push it back.
Although Tis must be a ****en pain in the ass for George.
I think hes going to be a live underdog in this fight.
If Teo is struggling this could be the last hoorah at 135.
Hopefully for Teo it doesn't drain him too much, cause he looks kinda huge a week out from the fight.
