I'm not really impressed by Nonito. He ate so much left hooks from Inoue and never adjusted.. He just kept moving forward without even thinking.. the guy was 38 years old a veteran in the boxing game, and yet it was cringey to watch seeing him do the same mistake over and over in the course of the 12 rounds.
That told me he's not a fighter that can adjust in the ring.. He's pretty basic, that's why he is puzzled about how Pac can get through that right Jab of Spence. He couldn't even figure out how to get in against Inoue without eating leather.. The guy just repeatedly moved forward like a mindless beast. He's a good fighter, but I won't put too much weight in his stocks.
On the other hand, if you really Know Iron Mike, he's not a mindless brawler like those who think he is.. There's a method to his madness. His bob and weave, constant pendulum head movement that explosive Pop.. are all a product of his attention to detail. Iron Mike, is not only a great fighter, he was a student in the game. He watched countless classic fights of great fighters on VHS and learned from other greats. The guy has more upstairs than Nonito will ever dream about. Iron Mike was humble enough to learn form the greats of the past.
