Hopkins fought pretty cautiously and was not trying to please the crowd at all because this was the fight he had to win in order to fight Felix Trinidad. In other words, his entire career was on the line and hopkins didn't take any unnecessary chances that would jeopardize everything he worked for up to that point.

In all of his fights during that 20 title defense stretch, he almost always won every round or by KO. There really wasn't a single close scorecard all the way until he fought taylor of course.

You didn't miss much, I wouldn't worry too much about that fight. B-hop won clearly but it wasn't the domination some ppl make it out to be.
