Would a confident Roy Jones of beaten Glen Johnson

Would a confident Roy Jones of beaten Glen Johnson ? i dont mean a prime Roy i mean that Roy that fought Johnson, lets assume the Tarver fights had not rocked his confidence, would he still have enough left physically to beat that Glen Johnson if he had his belief/confidence that night?

I dont know if he would im just throwing it out there because Jones lack of confidence definitely played a big role imo, he was never in that fight from start to finish.

RJ was confident in that fight, otherwise he wouldn't have chosen Glen comin off a KO loss. Glen simply overwhelmed him.

How many times do we have to see him in wars before folks go, "Glen Johnson is just a really good fighter." He lost a lot...but to mostly excellent foes. Then he got better with age. It happens.

        Just before the fight,

"its not going to happen again".

He was very confident before that fight.

Another "excuses thread" for RJJ in NSB. When people do that **** how could you be credible when you attack Floyd huggers when say Floyd "coulda/woulda".
In here i read that Roy (woulda) beat Calzaghe, Johnson and Tarver... You know what? Actually Roy is undefeated, everybody knows that, he didn't really "lose" those fights. He was just out of shape, not confident,etc..

                Co-sign.

Johnson was beating him down pretty badly and I don't think it had anything to do with confidence.

Maybe if he would have been a lot younger, then he could have beat him using the movement he used against Hopkins, but at the point in his career that he fought him there was no way he was going to stand up against that kind of pressure.

Jones will win the rematch, I give Glen 100% credit for his win, but when Jones fights him again Jones will teach him a lesson.
