Plant has a highly underrated jab and his speed is as good if not better than Canelo. If he avoids enough of the mauling that’s typical of Canelo fights then he likely wins a close decision. Inversely if Canelo can get inside and maul coupled with his counterpunching then the decision probably goes his way.

plant is a good boxer, but it takes a lot more than that to beat canel nowadays..
should be competitive...

I didn’t like how much truax was landing the same punch on him. I don’t think the jab will be consistent enough throughout the fight, not to mention he won’t have the power to keep Canelo off. I am interested to see how he takes the body shots.

I don't give a sh%t who wins, however it would be GREAT for the Sport of Boxing as whole if these fights start actually DELIVERING in the Ring because I feel like too often a lot of the Fights that did Draw the Casuals in...disappointed them which is why a lot of them have stopped coming back. They miss out on the good fights and the fights that would make them comeback for me because they don't even bother to tune in for these smaller Divisions and lesser know fighters who come to FIGHT instead of just coming to win

So YES I Favor Canelo for sure BUT I hope it is a Great Fight and a Competitive Fight! May the best man win! I'm let go being all emotionally attached to any fighter, I just want to see good matches now. I enjoy UFC so much more than Boxing as of Late because the focus is not about "Purse" (al though they're extremely underpaid), "A Side" "Who Has He Fought" "His Resume" I don't hear none of that GARBAGE within the MMA Community. With UFC you fight, you work you way up to #1 and YOU GET YOUR SHOT! SIMPLE!
