Vargas was still in the fight. His eye looked like **** but SSM never hurt him in that fight. Even at the point of stoppage he just landed a peppering flurry. He wasn't doin bad enuf damage to halt the fight imo. As long as the fighter is fightin back and has a chance to win, refs should let em go.

But I have to say contrary to the judges and most probably I didn't see the fight that close.I only gave Fernando 2 rounds in the 9 they fought.Altough they were competitive Shane flurried at the end and stole many.

I had this fight hands down to Mosely, No way Fernando was gonna beat him with one eye. I give props to Vargas for going out there because he always showed wicked heart but his team shoulda stopped the fight at the end of round 8 or atleast round 9. He coulda been seriously hurt, mosley aint no feather handed fighter.

Vargas wasn't that beat up. But you gotta relize the corner knows their fighter and how ****en pissed he would be if they stop it especially knowing how much heart vargas had

He was still fighting back hard. If he was just getting hit and battered, I understand stopping it. But he had his hands up and was punching back.
