I think Freddie made manny the star that he is today. He was a one demonsional fighter with no defense. He now packs a bag of tricks and has better movement and better D. That would not be possible without Freddy.

***** yeah Roach brought Paco to the spotlight. He did transform him from a brawler from the P.I. to a world class boxer. On the other hand Paco allowed everyone to see how smart of a coach Freddie Roach really is. So they both work well together. At least that's what i think.

You have to give Roach the credit because there have been many a fighter that hasn't fulfilled their potential. Being a trainer is more than just showing him how to fight in the ring, there's a lot of mental aspect of it as well.
