He beat the jeebus outa that kid. Sniper is the real deal and I love watching him outbox these guys with aggression. instead of defense .

He said "It’s hard to look at my two children and not be determined to go in there and break that guy’s ribs". No need for him to talk about breaking bones and other arrogant crap for a guy at his level.

Why, what did he say? I didn't keep up with all he was saying in the lead up.

Would love to see him against someone like Ramirez or Postol or even a rematch against Zepeda who had a not so good performance in his last fight. I guess Zepeda goes next and Pedraza can definitely win that fight.
Every time he's fought at world level, he's lost. He is decent though. His skill level is there. But it just hasn't happened for him.

If Postal hasn't completely fallen off the edge due to age, he'd beat Pedraza with room to spare. Ramirez is just too fresh for him. Although he could outbox him if he can stay the pace and stay smart. Postal was making Ramirez look silly in a few of those rounds when he got ripped off of the decision. Pedraza could possibly do the same. But it's a big ask.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Rodriguez failing to make weight seems like a common issue. His resume is littered with weird catchweight type 141-143 pound fights. Commentary mentions him coming in overweight by maybe 3 lbs in his fight against Filipino journeyman Doronio. If he can't make weight for a journeyman OR an ex champion then when's he gonna have the motivation to make weight? Weight bully doing it wrong? I don't get it...
I dont think he is that dedicated to boxing. I always check instagram for training footage, but he seems to be more interested to be a singer and make music.

That's not so bad i suppose. Seems like the normal talk we get before fights.

"Sorry guys! Wasn’t the outcome i was expecting (or anyone for that matter). The scores were even going into that previous round before the end of the fight but i got hit with his thumb in my left eye and wasn’t able to see anymore. After checking it out in the corner, we thought it was best we call it and live to fight another day. It wasn’t the swelling or the accumulative damage, but just the one shot the round before in which my eyesight never recovered from. All good though. I didn’t like my performance as well (so i don’t just blame the injury). I wish Jose the best, fair play to him. I will be back very soon once the fracture to my orbital bone heals up. I appreciate the positive comments, negative comments and the overall support! I know what this will do for me in terms of motivation so I’m looking forward to healing up, fixing the mistakes i made, and coming back a new and improved fighter. It was good to get through a fight like this for my experience, and i will grow from this."

Were the scores really even??? WTF??!?? They were trying to rob Pedraza? Also he gives two similar but different excuses? Says he was thumbed in the eye then says his orbital bone was fractured. Karma? Somehow I doubt getting thumbed in the eye would fracture your orbital, and didn't seem like Pedraza was landing anything hard enough to break his bones but yeah that's from the horse's mouth.

If Pedrazza hadn’t stopped Rodriguez this would’ve been a wide , dominant decision win. Rodriguez isn’t being honest about this loss. Pedrazza was the far better man in their fight.

Yeah, he is full of sht and excuses. He is lucky Pedraza didn't turn it up and tee off on him and stop him.
