Loma had his chance and blew it. Game plan was flawed and he didn't open up early for fear of being clipped. Teo is off to bigger and better things. Loma can get the belt from Haney and then unify

The only reason why he won that fight is because Loma didn't shit for the first seven rounds. Teofimo absolutely ****** in that fight and if he is ever going to defeat Devin Haney then he is going to have to do a Hell of a lot better in that fight than he did against Loma or he would lose on points. Haney's jabs, movement, speed and combination punches would prove to be too much for him.

Who is talking about Haney the bum here, couldn't k.o an old dude with a lot of ko loss and no effin chin. He is nothing. Absolutely nothing. Zero value. Overrated. He is not even the real champ.

Can’t understand why Loma thinks beating Nakatani better than Lopez did means something. The lightweight division is stacked with more meaningful, much higher-profile challenges. Why not challenge Valdez, Tank or Haney? Loma seems to have lost confidence in himself.

• First, none of the names that you mentioned are willing to fight Lomachanko if they don't absolutely have to... and that is why none even mention Lomachanko's name anymore.
• Second, Nakatani took Lopez the distance in a fight that Teofimo scratched out by one or two punches in each round, it was close, a very competitive fight.

So people talk about what would happen in a rematch. Here are some scenarios: Loma starts early letting his hands go and leaves himself open and gets timed and stopped by Teo. Or, Loma starts early and builds up points but then as the fight wears, he also tires earlier since he exerts more energy early and Teo comes on late to win a close fight. Or, by Loma starting early, Teo is also more worn down by the mid rounds and Loma brings everything he has later and wins a clear decision. That's just 3 outcomes. So many possibilities due to their styles and pace. So when people talk about Loma starting early, that can be a double-edged sword. It could net him a win, or a harder to take loss.

The fight can certainly go either way and THAT is why it interests me and should interest every REAL boxing fan. Lopez is fighting Kola George in a one sided showcase. The fight will resemble BJ Saunders punching a cyclist from a moving car on youtube...not interested.

Lomachanko is fighting the Nakatani the giant because Masayoshie was in fact the only guy willing to fight Lomachanko and he is many, many times more dangerous than that no hope Kambosos. Based purely upon styles and attributes...I'm honestly not sure that Lomachanko even beats Masayoshie and that makes it a must see fight.

Assuming that Loma gets past Masayoshie (big assumption) a rematch between Lopez and a better prepared Lomachanko with a healthy shoulder is a must see fight of the year.

It might be Lopez's biggest money fight available, but he doesn't want it for some reason. If it's easy money, why doesn't he take it?

YES Lomachanko represents Lopez's biggest payday and NO Teofimo's father doesn't want it because his is less than certain the same tactic will bare the same results espacially if Lomachanko is prepared for it.

Lopez senior said that his son caught Lomachanko by surprise when he pushed Lomachanko off disrupting his swarming assault. Lopez's fight plan was solid and it did in fact catch Lomachanko off guard. Lomachanko's weakness (other than a blown shoulder) is that the fight plan and instructions come from Anatoly Lomachenko and Valsy executes like a machine, that is the Matrix. Unlike Floyd on the fly, Lomachanko's adjustments come from his corner. Lomachanko makes adjustments but they are always late and twice they were too late.

Salido exposed Loma's slow motion, late adjustments just as Teofimo did. That said, both Salido and Teofimo refuse to give Lomachanko a rematch because neither camp are confident that using the same tactics against a healthy prepared Lomachako will work a 2nd time and I believe they are correct.

IMO, I don't believe either Salido or Teofimo can win a rematch and neither do their camps. If I am correct Teofimo will continue to explain (make excuses) for not meeting Lomachanko in the ring a 2nd time, he'll continue to fight come-forward cans at 135 and 140 for the now and into the future.

The first fight was close enough to warrant a rematch. If Teo was chasing Haney to make undisputed, OK that would be more important, but I doubt that's what Teo has lined up next. Kambosos no-one really wants to see, but it is a mandatory so it is justifiable, but next fight, if he really thinks he knocks out Loma, go ahead and prove it.

He has to know that saying he knocks out Loma carries no weight. Talk is cheap.
