Tim is taking the unusual path to the usual Aussie fighter who pads his record with Thai kickboxers and cab drivers before stepping up and getting beaten up.

However, I hope he isn't looking beyond Zerafa, who knows this is his only chance to make his mark. That makes him very dangerous, and he is a big boy @ 5'11".
He might weigh in as much as 165 on fight night, so Tim better have his defence well-drilled.

If he does get past Zerafa, then he can truly say he has cleaned out all domestic rivals, and focus on becoming a champ like his old man.

Probably a blessing in disguise for Hurd. I think Tim would've lit him up bad.
