and what are you supposed to do if the ref never even acknowledges that the knockdown occured? Nady did nothing, and Barrera just sat there waiting and then said 'screw it'. I mean, youre in the middle of a fight, and the guy youre fighting is ready to go.
Im not saying it was right, and it was correct to have a point deduction, but geez man, I wouldnt have just sat around waiting a half an hour for the knockdown to be called while the other guy is recooping.

It still amazes me that Barrera never got credit for the knockdown in that fight.

He has a really good offense, his timing is really good. He also has a devastating uppercut, a really good left hook and a straight right hand that usually lands down the middle. His offense is great, his defense is nothing to brag about but he is lacking in the defense department. Atleast he isn't like Margarito, where he doesn't try to avoid a punch.
