he's saying this because people percieved floyd's inability to finish paul as a weakness of the sport. in reality floyd coulnd't stop guys of his own size when he was in his prime. he's just not that kind of fighter. this was to be expected, i can't see why one would expect anything else. i thought logan would tire out, i didn't think floyd would detonate him like a rocky movie. paul is 6'2" and walks around well over 200 lbs and he's in shape. floyd topped out at about 150 lbs as a pro. had a hall of fame career at 130 and 135. that's 50 lbs and he was never a puncher to begin with.

Add in the youth vs age factor and it becomes a mystery why Paul was not able to do significantly more ...
So credit to Mayweather that he pretty much carried the fight ... even with all those disadvantages. Pretty impressive punching a cruiserweight around and forcing him to clinch for much of the fight.
Hopefully this will be the final exhibition by Floyd against big, young guys who should be able to take his head off. As per Logan Paul, if he were in with a current boxer anywhere near his size I think he would be in great trouble. He should have been able to hurt Floyd and trouble him. It's very troubling that he mostly could not.
i agree with the first sentence. second sentence is silly, paul couldn't hit floyd flush and he was eating left hands on this way in. those right hand counters could have hurt or stopped paul if they were a little bit better timed but floyd was very rusty.
paul accounted very well for himself. he hadn't trained much prioviously in his "boxing career" but for this fight he lost a lot of weight, worked hard with a trainer, and was able to go 8 rounds with one othe best fighters to ever do it. kudos to him. he'd beat the bag out of most of the forum.

I thought the most important comments were from George Foreman. He talked about being able to change with the times.
I think other pros need to understand this. Fighters need to change how they do things to make sure they can attract fans.
Not saying everyone needs to adopt a “money Mayweather “ persona but the old way of attracting fans just isn’t working.

Age has nothing to do with it. A fat, 45 year old Foreman won the HW title against a lethal Moorer.
The truth is that Logan may not be a pro, but the man has an iron chin and showed incredible heart. I'm absolutely positive that if it was Connor again he would have either quit on his stool or been knocked out.Fact likes this.

I thought Floyd did well he out pointed logan. I think we put pros on top high a pedestal and we underestimate people who don't fight for a living. We think anyone who don't fight for a living can't take and aren't used to getting hit in chin. But pros don't like being hit also we must realise
We think Paul malinaggi could ko Paul Logan as Paul Logan isn't a pro?

Bob Arum is a bitter old man because he’s no longer able to put on events such as these. He can’t even give Logan his proper due because he knows that once fighters start branding themselves they won’t need top rank boxing,
It’s funny how everyone is saying Logan should’ve beat Floyd and hurt him when before the fight happened everyone was choosing Floyd to stop Logan in the later rounds. Errol Spence said Floyd would get him outta there after Logan gasses and Canelo said it was obvious Floyd would whoop his ass. Mike Tyson said he had no chance yet now all of sudden after Logan performed beyond expectations everyone says he should’ve done better. All the fighters and boxing experts said Logan would get beat up bad, only the people and fighters who have been in camp and sparred with Logan chose him for the upset. It’s simple what happened, floyd underestimated Logan and so he got embarrassed. As for who won the fight, just look at the end result. Logan has motivation to put on more fights and get even better, floyd is retiring from exhibition fights all together. At the end of the day Logan only need one prof fight with a YouTuber and then was ready to compete with Floyd a year and half later.Fact likes this.

He was never a KO artist against guys his size as you said, but he mastered the game of not getting hit and landing scoring shots efficiently. Before the exhibition I said there is no way he hurts a 200 pound in shape man and it will be a decision...unless Logan totally gassed in the late rounds and couldn't defend himself and ref stopped it. I was mildly interested to see if the size difference presented any problems to Floyd at 44 and retired for years. It didn't. He has slipped some with age and ring rust as expected, but performed just fine.
