Lyle hit Ali with a lot of shots. Lyle wasn't bigger than Ali really, Lyle never had a pro boxing match before Ali. Not sure Lyle even boxed a second of his life before he fought Ali.

Ali was 37 and STILL PRO.

Alzado had an amateur boxing record of 44-1 and went to the semi-finals in a Golden Gloves tournament. He was also a professional athlete.

Ali had already been beaten by Leon Spinks, who had 7 pro fights.

Don’t equate that to Mayweather-Paul.

According to Floyd Ali ruined his own legacy when he lost to a fighter with only 7 fights. That's straight from Floyd's mouth. You clowns need to stop clinging to this legacy angle by comparing Floyd to Ali. The only thing they have in common outside of their yappy mouths was that they both got some gift decisions that helped their careers. Outside of that, Ali at least fought several prime elites at their best (Frazier, Foreman, Holmes), but Floyd never did.
