I say Hearns hits harder than McClellan.
Who hits harder Trinidad or Julian Jackson?

thats a tough questionOriginally posted by jack_the_rippuhWho hits harder McClellan or Hearns?
I think Hearns' right hand is more powerful than mcclellans right hand, but mcclellans left hand was a beast as well, dwarfing hearns' left hand. so it's all about what you mean, a harder puncher from a single shot is hearns, but if mcclellans' right misses he'd ***** you with the leftComment

That's a tough call. I'm think McClellan hit harder because of the fact he was a natural middle weight whereas Hearns moved up from welter.Originally posted by jack_the_rippuhWho hits harder McClellan or Hearns?Comment

Jackson hits harder than Tito...Jackson had better one punch power..Tito seems to knock most of his opponents out from an accumulation of punches.Comment

plus mcllelan weighed 175-180 at fight time , gaves him an edge in power at middleweight.Originally posted by Knicksman20That's a tough call. I'm think McClellan hit harder because of the fact he was a natural middle weight whereas Hearns moved up from welter.Comment

Gerald was more a natural Lightheavyweight. He`d enter the ring some 15 - 20 lbs above the middle/super middle limit by fight time.
I think allot of his natural power came from this weight advantage and explains why allot of his KO`s were early!
Trinidad`s power is more from the hips and jumping off his right leg with the left hook but I tend to think McClenan was the harder hitter.
Jullian Jackson! Man, his power was unreal. I could not believe it some times he`d hit just once and level fighters like Terry Norris and Herol Graham. Hearns had a great right hand, but Jackson was riddled with power!Comment
