Anyone else think Mayweather held back on throwing hard shots to not break his hands again? If he's doing more exhibitions, the last thing he wants is more hand surgery and having to wait until he's even older.
Floyd hasnt fought professionally in 6 years and people still compare his ability to his pro years...hes not pro and hasnt been for quite awhile. Its clear he just does it for fun and money obviously but theres no fall from grace here.
Most fighters if not all are shells of themselves 6 years into retirement. Not sure why this would be considered "news"
This was clearly sold as an exhibition, a lot of people are still treating this as a fight.
To my personal taste I did not like it, too much grappling from Paul to my taste, but I don't have a right to complain as I did not pay for it, so if you paid and you are happy, good for you, that doesn't have anything to do with my business, if you paid for it and you were not happy, well, bad for you, lol.
Floyd still looks good at 44, for his age, his speed, reflexes and defense still looks on point, however I don't think it would be wise for him to return to boxing.
Floyd was never a big puncher at welterweight however I do think myself and a lot of people were hoping for a stoppage, guess the size difference really made a difference.
I'm not good nor bad with this, it was an exhibition however I do think the moral victory is for Paul as he will always be able to say he went 8 rounds against an all time great.
It is what it is, we goot great boxing matches on the future.
Floyd was messing about, he even stopped throwing Round 7 and 8 just to keep the fight going.
he could have ended it Round 2
Really? Then why didn't he "mess about" when he fought the 125 lb. Japanese kid? Why did he make it a point to KO him in first round but somehow he "carried" Logan and didn't want to hurt him? Just stop.

He could have ended it round one. He knocked Paul out in the 1st but held him up because he wanted the fight to continue. That's what's hustlers do. He's got morons like Skip Bayless thinking he's washed enough to lose to Jake Paul. Jake Paul is another easy million anytime he wants it.

1. Potential for further huge fights in USA eg against Jake Paul.
2. much greater money in this fight. Don’t want to annoy the paying USA fan base by KO in 30 seconds. Want to keep the aura going that there is a chance of Floyd losing.
3. People like yourself will keep on buying or being interested believing that a taxi driver can KO one of the greatest boxers ever.
