I agree, it shouldn’t matter much but I just find it interesting to see the assortment of excuses that many people are making for Mayweather. Floyd at least tried to get the KO, so I can’t fault him for making an honest attempt.

I just personally don’t look too far into it if someone doesn’t get the KO when fans expect it should happen. I don’t necessarily fault the boxer, unless it’s obvious he was coasting or actively playing it safe. It might feel disappointing, but as you said Floyd was going for it.

With the ebbs and flows of a boxing match, so many things factor into why a KO does ior doesn’t happen.
