  • WOW Canelo breaks another record

Canelo holds the record for a champion who has fought in the most catchweight fights. He is the only champion in boxing to have fought in 12+ catchweight fights. 20% of his fights have been catchweight fights. I didn’t count Kovalev and Daniels but those fight had rehydration clauses as well. Congratulations Saul.

    Angulo

    Khan

    Kirkland

    Mayweather

    Lara

    Cotto

    Hatton

    Baldomir

    Ndou

    Cuello

    Chavez

    Mosley

You know that catch weight was due to phag boy Floyd right who had to pick the gloves, ring, catch weight, officials, rer etc.

So that would make phag boy Floyd the king of catchweights hahahahhaahhah

Canelo is beating Floyd at everything. Although to be fair Floyd beat the world speed record when he ran from an Amir Khan fight. Canelo just got in the ring with Khan and smashed him.

This is easy it's not even a challenge.

Angulo - fought above 155 many times before Canelo. There is no ''catchweight'' advantage theory unless you say Angulo needed 160. Think about that.

Khan - unlike Brook who fought at the full 160 in favor of GGG, Canelo gave Khan the classic benefit of a catch, deprive Canelo power, give the draining fighter some edge.

Kirkland - fought above 155 many times before. There is no catchweight advantage theory unless you say Kirkland needed 160. Think about that.

Mayweather- A side Floyd stipulated 152.

Lara - fought above 155 many time before. In fact Lara had many fights at exactly ''155'' so he is the originator of 155 weight. Unless you want to say Lara needed 160. Think about that.

Cotto - Cotto was A side. He stipulated 155. Unless of course you say Cotto needed 160 for Canelo.

Hatton - Hatton had the advantage like Manny Pacquiao, being entitled a Super Welterweight fight at a 150 catch. Unless of course you feel Hatton would've been better at 154 against Canelo... lol

Baldomir - that ''Silver'' Super Welter strap meant nothing since Canelo's handlers were trying to go back to 147. The following fight with Ndou was 149 yet Canelo was still heavier than planned and 147 was to be ditched. Unless of course you feel Baldomir needed the full 154?

Ndou - 149.. lol You think fans care that GGG fought Rolls at 164?

Cuello - you're citing old fight before titles came into the picture. Why don't you go look at Shawn Porter, Thurman, or Spence's earlier fights...lol

Chavez - the biggest Middleweight Cheat of all time outsizing Andy Lee.... you should get the picture for the PEDS he was allowed to do and IV's for replenishing.

          Mosley - which Mosley? lol

easy work man. Floyd is still gay nonetheless.

12catchweights and 2 rehydration clauses no matter how hard you try to spin it. He owns the record deal with it.

You don't know what a catchweight is. That's what's funnier. Demarco vs Figueroa. What's so important about that '^catchweight?'' The fact that you don't know fighters don't like to cut weight means that fighters who hit 154 would LOVE or rather make 155. It's understandable for casuals to know how 1lb of water makes a difference for replenishment. Nobody in industry reciprocates your crying because you don't understand weights. lol

Why would females cry for Floyd's hair? They know he's gay. I cry for Floyd's hair because I'm balding too, but not as bad as his. That's why he's gay!
