Don't know why so many are upset at this fight, this is something that has been done before in the past. They had that celebrity boxing series that feature Tanya Harding, eventually they will do too many and people get sick of them for the next 5 to ten years. I really don't care one bit for this fight but they are popular figures so I suspect it will sell well.

Floyd haters are more interested in this fight than hardcore fans.

Spence has a point. The bigger problem is Floyd/ Paul will outsell Spence/Manny.

What used to be a big practice in the USA at least was the sports bars getting all the PPV fights. I’m not sure if this is a practice anymore because I tend to watch them at the house or at the arena. But I visibly remember Holyfield v Tyson I at a sports bar in the galleria in Houston and myself and a big group of friends losing our voices over the main event. It was the kind of atmosphere wherein folk would high five and hug who didn’t even know each other when Holyfield stopped Tyson. It’s that sort of affair that boxing needs to rediscover that that sort of fight magic is only created when stars fight other stars

Yep, when a boxing match grips the fans to that degree it's special, I had the same sort of experience at a cinema in Birmingham , England when Hagler took out Hearns (as I'm sure others did) fans black and white , green and purple were just shaking hands and hugging feeling sure they had witnessed something special , the only two who should be hugging tonight are Floyd and Paul !
