I agree with Hatton but Logan Paul isn’t fighting for the WBC Welter belt.

I think this fight is garbage but a small part of me wants Paul to KO Mayweather just to see what happens after.

Hatton got his shot against Floyd due to a gift vs Collazo in a fight he really lost and an old washed up castillo. Not sure what he’s complaining about because he fought a prime Floyd ima world title fight. This event tonight is an exhibition circus act.

Total agreement. And as someone pointed out above, Ali was apart of the same thing multiple times. Mayweather is retired, if he wants to make money doing exhibitions that’s his thing. And to be honest, boxing could use the publicity. American sports fans are not tuning into other sports as they used to, boxing has an opportunity to fill the gap and snag some fans....ie grow. I would like to see more legit fights on these exhibition undercards however. That is the only thing I would like to see changed. Use them to showcase actual contenders, and contenders with extreme talent who produce exciting fights

Ricky grows a chubby every time he reminds us he beat Kostya Tszyu. Like Froch mentioning Groves in front of 80,000 at Wembley. And the Juan Urango fight was just horrible as was the Collazo fight where Ricky just wrestled for the last 6 rounds.

I agree with Hatton here. It's misleading a lot of casuals that this shyte is legit and these are not the circus acts they actually are. Yes the great man himself did it (Ali) and for me he was wrong and he gained no real respect for it , just a few extra quid and raised eyebrows and badly clotted and bruised legs on one occasion ,again the same nothing to do with boxing. A friend called me earlier today asking who I think will win the 'Mayweather' fight and when I filled this causal in on proceedings he promptly change his plans. Hatton and many others fought hard to earn their boxing shots at the big money , Paul comes nowhere near doing this .Mayweather should frankly be ashamed .I got up early every time Mayweather fought most times 4 am uk time .I wouldn't watch this shyte if you paid me!

Hatton beat an old man Tsu who retired after the fight cuz he was old and done. And some B level fighters like Collazo and Castillo, neither of which got a single significant win after their fights with Hatton.

Hatton, after being complete outclassed and humiliated by Mayweather, went on to beat Malignaggi to "earn" his big fight vs Pacquaio. He didn't belong in the same venue let alone the same ring as Pacquiao or Mayweather. Just like Logan Paul.
