Why hasn’t Badou Jack been able to make 175 in two years?

It seems like he’s done with boxing and hanging on for one last payday. He clearly doesn’t have motivation to stay in shape.

I actually legit thought it was Friday and didn't realize they had already weighed in. I imagine they didn't need to come down to 175 once Pascal popped, knowing his opponent was most likely going to be over since it was short notice. I still think he's motivated which is why he's brought on James Lockwood as his nutritionist. He looks good for 38.

He is older so it's definitely harder to make 175 but I think ultimately him fighting technically at cruiser is more of age and the difficulty of making weight more so than his dedication. This one I'll personally chalk up to the necessity of not needing to cut those last 2 lbs. I'm sure he would've made 175 if Pascal didn't **** up.
