Is anyone excited over Anthony Joshua vs Usyk?

Yeah man, Usyk represents Joshua's first real challenge from Europe. Takam was always **** and was getting old too. Pov, Pulev, and Klistchko were firmly in the old category, Usyk is a young euro champion with a winning reckon.

I dig the world champion ideal but in practice 90% of "world" champions fought mostly Americans. It's cool to have the world a little better represented these days.

That said, nah, I don't think Usyk has much chance. Maybe he can tire Joshua...that's about it I reckon.

Usyk has no power and is slower than he was at cruiser, hes not the same fighter anymore. He is still skilled and has a high ring IQ but physically he is different and it is not enough.

Idk that AJ can outskill Usyk. He can outsize him with some solid tactics/strategy or KO him, but he's not gonna outbox Usyk. He needs to smartly use his size & bully Usyk a decent amount. Make it a lil rough on Usyk. Make Usyk feel like he's in there with a whole other type of mfer than he's been in there with. And idk if AJ is that type of guy/boxer.

I think AJ winning convincingly by outboxing Usyk is the least likely decision outcome for this fight. Feel like Usyk wins close, clear or wide & AJ wins close or controversial all hit at a higher rate than AJ wins wide. AJ winning clear seems possible, but still less likely than close or controversial with how I see this fight going down.
