Yeah. Sad part is this Sunday BS will sell 5-7 times more than last Saturday’s card.

This on the heels of Emmanuel navarette card on espn that didn’t do much either - and had people tune off once Berlanga was done.

    smdh!!!

I've been saying for years, Boxing doesn't market to us, they market to the casual. They know our ****** asses will tune in.

With Pascal/Browne cancelled though, Ive lost all interest whatsoever. I'll watch the Hurd fight on youtube the next day.

I'm happy to see Donaire back in the picture and on the winning path so to speak, however those numbers aren't exactly the best I guess this happens when most casual boxing fans or everyday viewers tune in as much unless it's a big/house hold name so it more or less falls down on the hardcore fans to tune in...

And why do boxing fans not tune in? Why has this happened, do you wonder?

So sad that so few saw a great card, and a great main event! Salute to the "Filipino Flash!" Can't wait for Casimero vs. Rigondeaux! Hope Donaire fights the winner in 2021!

If I had to guess it’s that some of you guys are driven by hate more than you are the love of the sport.

what do I mean - a pbc card is on and you don’t watch because you hate haymon more than you love boxing. Arum has a card and people don’t watch because they hate him more than they like boxing.

Fans, especially on this site, crap on a card the minute it’s announced if it’s not exactly who they want to see fight. They don’t consider that the matchup might produce a great fight.

It’s because of skeptic LDBC diehards whom said that DAZN was failing because it’s an “app.”

Those same type of fans who you describe wouldn’t be able to tell you who Carmine basilio, tony zale, Rocky graziano, Owen Moran, kid chocolate, Bob fitzsimmons, jersey joe Walcott, ingemar johannson, Greg Haugen, vinny Pazienza, Troy Dorsey, Tex Cobb, etc etc were. That’s the problem with so many younger so called fans these days....they arnt really fans of the sport they are nationalism, race, and ethnic fans who have just got lien caught up in the hype. The boxing fan base of today is HEAVILY influenced by the political populism of the time

Talking about DAZN failing based on the lack of subscriptions sold isn’t the same as not watching boxing.

DAZN is now offering fights on a ppv basis. I buy those ppv’s even though I don’t have the app. I don’t like odh yet I supported his small cards- not on DAZN but on the Spanish language channels that simulcast them.

I actually like the sport. You only like DAZN.
