Correction: WBC franchise is not a title, it's an exemption. Thus Lopez has 3 titles and he's not an undisputed champion. He needs to fight and defeat Devin first before he can call himself an undisputed champion.

Kambosos, he's a big underdog, but he does see that maybe Lopez thinks he's better than he really is.

The point I’m trying to make is that the system of rules of boxing is flawed.
We as fans need to take note of who exactly is the best of the division. Sometimes it’s a close call and debatable and other times is crystal clear.

lomachenko was the division king pin, and lopez beat the man clearly.
Haney fought no one. Nothing to even debate. Tank Davis is fighting blown up featherweights and now targeting a completely different division.
so the question is, are we truely debating who the true (current) king of lightweight is?
Because we certainly cannot depend on the rules of boxing and it’s BS titles to make that claim

I mean, if Lomachenko can be considered the WBC champion after Mikey Garcia vacated it then why can't Haney after Lomachenko dropped it?

Teofimo has 3 of the belts but he is not the undisputed lightweight champion until he picks up the WBC belt.
