    Pacquiao's recent training video

He appears to be sluggish, possibly as a result of his two-year long break. Spence will undoubtedly KO Pac in the first round.

lol, that "sluggish" Pac still looks faster than 95% of the division.

looks like trash, but so would you at that age and right after a layoff and when you first stepped into a gym. he will knock the rust off and look much, much more prepared than this when he's shed some weight and starts to spar. and yeah, i think he loses to errol spence. if he beats spence it will be one of the best wins of his career and one of the best wins we've seen in boxing for a while. spence is a big welterweight and aside from the layoffs and injury he should be in his physical prime. every elite cash cow in boxing is rusty now because they don't make a ton of money and don't want to fight during the shut down.

Do you think some hard sparring will help Pac before Spence? And gradually tone it down or should he just be doing conditioning etc

Same as anything you take a break from, takes a few week to get back in the groove.

yeah unless he's so old that he can't spar they'll be gradually ramping things up the way they would in any other camp. pacquiao's also got the benefit of not having to drop a lot of weight becuase he's so small. wildcard fighters always used to spar a lot, and fairly hard. he's probably still got that kind of mentality going into camp even now. unless spence looks genuinely terrible i do expect him to beat pacquiao fairly easily. he's too big and he's very good. he toyed with mikey garcia. he blocked his shots like they were nothing and he was ranging him, i expect the same kind of outcome here.

If he plans to do his whole camp in a hotel garden he might be in trouble alright

He looks soft.. but as expected. It's just the start of the training camp.. What's good is his weight is in check. He doesn't have to shed any extra weight. He'll just have to focus on the training from here on out.

He has close to a three month training camp ahead of him. Pretty sure he knows what he is doing by now.
