Can someone explain to me WHY Arum made Fury Wilder 3 in like 7.5 weeks?

This is just one thing I need somebody to clarify for me.

OK so Fury and team thought the Arbitration was probably not going to be an issue.

Fury is fannying about in USA flying here there and everywhere, drinking and eating trash (he is training a bit but not really)

Wilder meanwhile is 100% focused on Fury, in training for him and looks in great shape.

Arbitration goes wrong and Arum immediately makes the fight in 8 weeks time.

    Eh?

    Why?

Why would you make the fight where the timing suits Wilder?

    He's ready, Fury isn't.

Make him wait for Fury to get ready, you had like 15 weeks.

It's not because fury hasn't been active because neither has been.

Also, why is this fight in the USA, AGAIN.

there is no way Wilder should have home field advantage, if Fury can't get a UK license do it in France then where UK fans can easily get to and wilders fanbase can't.

So let's get this right Fury is the champion and for the third time in a row is giving up all the advantages to Wilder. Next they will be telling me Wilder is picking the gloves and the ring size and walking out second.

Bob Arum is a terrible promoter at this stage, Haymons goons must be laughing at this set up.

Fury better be taking this seriously because as trash as Wilder is he only needs one punch to bail him out and if Fury turns up sluggish after his 7 week last minute change of opponent camp he will get clocked, big John fury knows this and he's **** on the money.

Fight was already signed - that's number one.

Number two, the arbitration judge ordered a fast fight. There'd have been no way for Fury to fight Joshua and then Wilder a month later.

Number three, Fury IS training heavy. Just because he's not placating you with a bunch of Instagram videos of him hitting a heavy bag doesn't mean he's not training.

We need to get mentally back to a world where there IS NO SOCIAL MEDIA.

Agreed with everything, Fury partying around is really disturbing. Am not picking him to win the trilogy. The speed at which this fight was made is a bit shocking. Like Fury was sold out or something.

Number One doesn't matter because a date wasn't set

Number 2 also doesn't matter because he said by end of September not July

Number 3, maybe we will see, he certainly doesn't look like he's training that hard when he's flying to a different city halfway across the USA to party with different celebrities every few days

I belive this is the last fight on his current deal.

I'd be interested to know Wilders contract status as something about this smells Don kingey to me.

the original agreement required Fury to fight Wilder no more than X months after the previous fight. That's long passed. That set the date.

Arum tried to make Fury/Joshua in August ONLY because of Saudi timing. When the fight is in the US, and especially since Vegas is now basically open, he's free to book the fight whenever - and it doesn't make sense to book Fury/Wilder 3 in September which only leaves effectively for Fury to get ready for Joshua in December (Which is when Arum wants that to happen).

Lest we forget, Fury's performance in the second fight was right in the middle of him flying around to WWE events to actually take bumps in the ring. So

On the dates for the AJ fight he is definatley going to have to fight Usyk next unless he drops the WBO in which case he will have a tune up.

My point is they could have made the fight in 12 or 13 weeks time and it'd have made way more sense.

There isn't a world in which this was the smart move, sorry there just isn't. They have made a dumb ass decision and suited the fight to Wilder. Fury MAY be good enough to still win anyway but if he does get clipped in this one it's he and his teams fault for not respecting Wilder as an opponent and preparing properly.

Wouldn't be surprised if Fury picked up an injury in camp.

I actually said he should do that just to **** Wilder around. Put him through a training camp then pull out the week before the fight with a sore elbow then make him do back to back camps.

Because the arbiter said the fight must happen by September 15th. That was the only available date
