props to u Bro - u also know the sport. Would agree with u on Haney beating the other top fighters IF he had more punching power to keep the top opponents honest. Just see Teo and Davis(who is being fed cherry-pick after cherry-pick by Floyd/Pbc) methodically walking him down and stopping him in the latter rds. Power is the great equilizer in boxing and it cant be taught. Despite all his boxing skill, it will b his eventual downfall. But heck, just like everyone else - would love to see these young guns and Loma fight each other. The only one u can say is truly ducking the risky fights against the best is Davis...and like u stated - its probably has more to do with Floyd/Pbc not wanting to risk that 0. I dont even include Ryan in the mix at the top bc of his terrible defense like u pointed out, he hardly bends at the waist at all and wide open to be countered.

Looked like it could be the first good fight on DAZN this year until the last 2 rounds. BOOOOO! lol.Comment

Time will tell. It likely won't matter much in the long run. But hanging on for dear life for the last 2 rounds is not a good look no matter what anyone says. If he had fought through the crisis then that's different. A bit like Khan when he beat Maidana, people can respect that.Comment

Oh man Akinwande vs Lewis. Yikes. That was brutal. Yeah Haney shoulda had a point deducted for sure. It wouldn’t have changed the outcome but it would have affected his stock a bit and highlight that he might be a bit chinny. He looked like he took a decent punch at first but it was how long it took him to recover if he even did that might open some eyes. I’m scared that Teo is going to price himself out of any potential big match up. He’s in no rush.Comment

“Devin Haney gets the learning experience he needed.”
How the hell are we writing on and recognizing a “World Champion” that has an article titled as such? I mean cmon boxing orgs!? How TF are we granting a “World Title” to a fighter who’s 26 fights into his career, fought his first top 10 opponent (still question that) and whose greatest challenge came from a 35 yo fighter!?
WTF is wrong with Boxing!!!??Comment

That's a good point with Teo, I get that feeling too. Im not sure when were going to get another big fight at lightweight. Davis seems to have skipped the division, Garcia is AWOL and Teo pricing himself out like you say. Slight chance of haney vs Garcia but I'm not confident we see that either.Comment
