Devin Haney is the only fighter ever to beat Linares on points. That says a lot about him. The kid is going to be harder and harder to beat as he grows into his man strength, while gaining invaluable experience. He’ll just box your errs off.

I won't be happy until I see that racist hugger knocked out.

He beat him, but not sure what the outcome would be if they fought again now Linares is older but the Linares who beat Campbell would have ko'd Haney in those last two rounds, no doubt about it

Yup we saw him get clipped by a washed up old man and instead of fighting like man or get on his bike like most skilled boxers he chose to air hump Linares and clinch for dear life

Which is even more embarrassing, Linares is past his prime, who hadn't won a big fight in half a decade. Everyone that beats Linares has stopped him and now that he's older, diminished skills, slower Devin still couldn't even stop him or drop him smh not to mention Linares made the stanky leg

Just commenting on the franchise champ thing. The sanctionning body itself said they received calls from 2 fighters requesting to be ade franchise champs. You can even see the clip online. Maybe it was for financial reasons who knows..so I won't use the word "duck" since it's impossible for me to prove/backup.

Dude needs to get a hold of himself acting like this is someone else's fault...and acting like Devin Haney is so special that he will never get hit by big punches.

Haney needed the extra offense to win this fight, they better be looking at that - look at the scores they were close. If Haney can't do damage on opponents, he has to at least be looking like he's trying....he will have to fight at an increased tempo at the higher levels. Some of these fans want Haney to succeed - they are saying man I can't score rounds for you fighting like you did against Gamboa...you don't have the clout to have round penciled in for you just because you don't get touched.....you have to show an offense. They aren't just all looking to see Haney get KOed.

Should be thanking the fans for lighting a fire under his ass. I didn't like how he closed the fight, he should have been warned or deducted a point...but before that, it was one of his best performances. Learning to manage his energy for the later rounds is something to get from this fight...next time I hope to see him fighting at the same pace but finishing the fight better. He looked dead tired midway through the round he got hurt in
