showtime allowing andre ward to have all hometown fights in a tournament where other fighters had to fight in 4 different countries. then after they created the andre ward monster he just left to hbo lmao. then on hbo after he robbed kovalev and low blowed him in the rematch he retired. thanks suckers!

Haney's grabbing and holding like that looks really bad as it's a high profile fight on a network that is trying to gain more subs and it's in its starting phase. I watched the fight with friends/wife and their wives and they were not pleased. They were casual fans expecting to see a good fight. That fight will not make them want to get DAZN that's for sure. They asked if that is allowed, I said no. They asked why is the ref not taking points away or give hard warnings to Haney? I said I don't know, maybe fear of retaliation from Hearn/DAZN for reprimanding their fighter. They asked why is the ref so quick to be all over Linares? Good question, I don't know either.

All of their reactions to Haney's holding was like shock that the ref isn't even warning him to stop with the blatant hugging.

I actually didn't mind Tyson doing that. It was retaliation from Holyfield's numerous fouls. I would've done worse to that PED cheat Evan Fields if he kept fouling me. How many headbutts and holding and hitting would you allow someone to do to you!? The referee didn't do anything against Holyfield's flagrant fouls. Mike shouldn't have bit him though. I think a few very noticeable lowblows and a Victor Ortiz vs Floyd type of headbutt would've been better and got the point across better. Holyfield is one of the dirtiest fighters ever. His head did more damage than his fists in several fights. He gave Rahman a boob on his head from a headbutt ffs. I hate dirty fighters.

The funny thing about this is there are two highlight videos by DAZN of the same fight and one of the differences of the second one is they actually removed that hug.

13:33 of the video you can see how they removed the run-n-hug. Look at the timestamp on the gif and compare it to the 0:16 here. 1:28 then they skip to 0:16 ---> lol!
