Linares was very suspect letting Haney off in the 11th

Haney was still very visibly hurt Linares comes out to literally pose for the whole round almost as to say “damn almost ruin the script” pretty damn suspect.

Then Oscar comes out and says Haney looked “real good” as if to want to save Haney for Ryan Garcia no way did he want his old veteran beating Haney he’s saving that for Ryan.

Pretty damn suspects how all of a sudden Linares did nothing in the 11th after having Haney hurt badly.

Oscar ain’t doing no favors to Matchroom. GBP needs a belt!

Linares didn’t press the gas on Loma too. Instead he chose to continue squared up whereas he should’ve just pressed Lomachenko immediately from that knockdown. Same thing with Canelo, sometimes he is too focused on getting an elegant KO when he could’ve just stopped on BJS. Notice Canelo wanted to finish BJS with Thor uppercuts on the corner but BJS just dipped below them? Sometimes we don’t get what we want, but it wasn’t suspect. GBP would benefit more if Linares had the belt so they could do in-house for Ryan.

yeah there's still some shady things going on behind the scenes, linares almost didnt throw a single punch after the 10th round like wtf.
ofc maybe he was a bit gassed but still when there's your only chance to win this fight u go all out regardless, throwing pitty pat punches if u cant do otherwise but not letting this mfer recover doing nothing at all.

I don’t like to throw conspiracy in to every fight but in that 11th it did cross my mind. Linieres looked tired at that point but that was his big chance to do something and he didn’t go all for it.

Come on now....if Linares was fixing the fight why wouldn't he go down in the 8th?

Eddie is the man who found out Whyte failed a drugs test a few days before the fight and didn't inform Rivas or his team, then they switched the gloves and didn't use the ones that they agreed to. They also didn't let anyone from Rivas's team inspect the gloves before or after the fight and like all of that wasn't bad enough Eddie threatened to sue UKAD which would have bankrupted them so they didn't take action against drug cheat Whyte.

So yeah, with Eddie anything is possible.

It was very suspect Linares had that look in the 11th as the say “ok DONT mess it up here jorge let him survive”.

I wouldn’t put it past Eddie either.

He couldn't do anything. Haney kept holding, grabbing on to him. He couldn't get his punches off. Linares style isn't wild swinging, never has been. Haney was scared to death, fighting scared as hell, wrestling all round. Can't do much in the ring when you're in a boxing match vs a wrestler. I mean did Haney even land anything of substance that round? His main focus was to blatantly wrestle. Linares did what he would when he could. He won the round because he was the aggressor and the only one trying to fight.

That’s true but one would think to jump on the guy, I get Linares is no volume guy but that’s when you have to adapt and pick it up.
