Linares has good power. And he's a really great counter puncher. So that's not accurate. He was able to put Loma on his ass as well. Now is he Tank or Teo? No. But when it comes to setting up shots he might be better than both.

this, he continued to do it in the 12th round too, well after he recovered from the end of the 10th. the 11th he barely threw anything, atleast jab and move or something but he hugged all 11th... which ok i can understand to some extend his legs were gone. but 12th his legs were back and he still hugged enough of the round to warrant a point deduction in my eyes

Yes I took particular issue with this. Who TF told him to do that? That's why most fathers can't be boxing coaches. Haney did himself no favors with that trash.

That wasn't a big shot, it was a probing right hand Loma walked into.

No way. Has way more mobility than Broner. AB is stiff as hell and only ever looked good against midgets or guys he outweighed by 10+ lbs. Haney was very good for much of that fight. And look how busy he was. Broner couldn't sustain that pace for one round.

              Exposed as what?

I think he got clipped again in the 12th.

His shot on Haney wasn't big either. It was perfectlyntime and placed. That's my point. Linares has pop. And above all he's a great timer, counter puncher. He got both guys perfectly. Haney was def hurt more but both guys got timed by a great shot.

NO, He’s no Broner. Broner would still be significant in the game if he stayed at 130-135 but he likes to eat too much. Haney was impressive. I liked his aggressive side and YES he was hurt in there. I saw 2 times he was hurt PRIOR to the 10th round. He handled it fairly well. He is only 22. He will be better next time but he should avoid Teo for at least 3 more fights. He needs to practice his craft more with TUFF alive dogs in there.

He’s nothing like Broner. Haney is disciplined and focused. He’s always in the gym training, even when he doesn’t have a fight on the books. Broner was always going out partying and getting fat between fights. Other than both guys being black I don’t see much in common between the two.
