  • Haney looked stellar for 9 rds, and mailed in the last 2 after he got caught with that right.
Linares completely blew it by not going in for the kill when he had that window of opportunity cause Haney's legs weren't right for half a round.

Decent bout, Haney showed toughness and a new aggressive side to him, but it's obvious, as much as he was laying into those shots, he couldn't overwhelm Linares.

Definitely gotta work on his defense.

Just look at Teo he's rather stiff and short. He basically beat Loma because he's bigger had Loma been 5'8 like Haney he would've beat Lopez easily. Haney is a pure boxer, Teo's only chance is a KO or to hurt Haney early because he's not going to win a boxing match with Haney

And not throwing so many fastballs so he doesn't gas himself out. I think his decision to in-fight and clinch so much had to do with impending exhaustion.

Glad this division is heating up though, we've got Diaz/Fortuna, Lopez/Kambosos and Loma/Nakatani all coming up soon. Hope this isn't the end of Linares, dude can obviously still fight

I've liked Linares for a long time. There are a whole lot of good fights out there for him.

Didn't Linares knock Loma down? He didn't look faded tonight just lost to a quicker younger pure boxer. One thing Linares got going for him is he's 5'8 so his length provides a bit more of a challenge compared to 5'6 guy's like Teo or Loma who Haney can basically just jab and pull counter all night without even getting touch much. Linares even at 35 is waay faster than Teo and Loma as well.

                  • Haney is not a power puncher he should still to boxing rather than pleasing fans.. he can outbox Lopez 100%
