Usyk is getting Joshua. That means the WBA mandatory is next.

Who are they going to pick as their mandatory contender?

    There’s six candidates:

    WBA champion Trevor Bryan.

WBA champion in recess Manuel Charr

    WBA Gold Champion Robert Helenius

Top rated contender not named Usyk.... Bogdan Dinu.

Bryan is probably the biggest fight just because of the whole undefeated American thing but I’m personally rooting for Charr since he’s a fringe top 20ish contender at cruiserweight.

Dinu would also be fun because I would want to see the announcers explaining why a Kubrat Pulev knockout victim is getting Joshua.

All the options are awful though.

    CAN’T WAIT!

Well, we're getting Dinu/Dubois for the interim title and probably a rematch between Helenius and Kownacki. Hopefully once those fights are over, they can make a 4 man tournament. I'd like to see Charr vs Bryan and Dubois/Dinu vs Helenius/Kownacki

I just want to clarify the currents because I think I might be off.

IBF Mando just happen with Pulev

WBO Mando is Usyk and that's happening now

WBC Mando is Whyte from when he beat Pov

WBA Mando is Ruiz from when he beat Arreola

      Everything's already set bud, no?

Whyte beating Povetkin didn't make him mandatory apparently. He lost it when he lost, but he didn't regain it in the rematch. Who the **** knows with Mauricio.

Was Ruiz/Arreola a final eliminator? Kownacki/Heleinus was a WBA eliminator, so Heleinus should be involved in the final.

The WBA mess makes my head spin.

Just raw, unabashed corruption and greed for more and more sanctioning fees.

            Got ya bud, thanks

Ruiz-Heleinus sounds like a decent fight actually.

really fun clash of styles IMO. Couldn't agree more.

Yeah, that one would be good. I think Ruiz walks him down. Helenius is chinny.

In general, I would agree. But in this particular case, Joshua hasn't defended the WBA title in 3 years.

Still embarassing that the ABC organisations havent come together yet and create a new set of rules to appoint mandatories for unified/undisputed champions.
Why should a unified/undisputed champion be bothered with low level mandatories who have not beaten a top 5 let alone a top 10 fighter.
Fighters like Khongsong, Caterall, Pulev, Kambosos, Dasmarinas, Yildirim, Meng, Deines should have never fought for a unified title.
